Multi-media artist Oliver Shing's Bioluminescence transforms The Atrium into a poetic, three-dimensional garden through architectural projection mapping. Drawing on East Kowloon's fascinating history and the unique tetrachromatic vision of avian species, it explores moments in the district's past when setbacks were met with resilience. Oliver Shing brings together cross-disciplinary music artist Edgar Hung, dramaturg Fong Ki-tuen, and local animation collective Daaimung, using bioluminescence as a metaphor for community connection. The work inspires viewers to celebrate the unique light that each of us brings to the world.
