No script. No line. No one truth. Sound, movement, and light meet — leaving only the moment of happening.

Artistic director and jazz guitarist Alan Kwan, together with designer and artist Adonian Chan, create TFS, where the movements of street dancer Bobby Lam and the electronic soundscapes of jazz keyboardist Jordan Gheen activate Chan’s sound installation Leoi Gung Orchestra. Tesla coil’s electric current transforms into frequencies and flashes — each gesture, each sound, each projection becomes an experiment without design.

As technology advances, we are empowered — yet also overpowered. TFS offers no answers. It compels us to look inward at our own smallness and desire — to ask, amid the surge of new technologies: how do we, and how does art itself, find a place, and a path to breakthrough?

Leoi Gung Orchestra is commissioned by Jockey Club Future Laboratory of Arts Tech.
